Our Nursery at Ash End Farm

Friday, 27 May 2016

The day went like this: A quick play in the park,

meet the birds of prey, lunch in the barn.

After lunch feed the goats, hold a chick,

find an egg, feed the lamb.

Another play and a bounce.

Ponies and horses,

coach and sleep.
A big thank you to all of the parents for their help.

Planetarium Star Dome

Tuesday, 24 May 2016

The whole school was intrigued this morning with our visit for the day from Auriga Star Dome Planetarium. They were here as part of our science week, KS1 classes will have a 30-40 minute session in the dark finding out about light and dark and KS2 will be under the stars finding out about the Earth, Sun and Moon. Mrs Wall said, “The pupils all enjoyed it and asked lots of great questions!”

The sun has got his hat on!

The nursery children have been mark making with bikes and cars in the sun shine. They’ve been trying out their new cameras that we bought with the money raised at the cake sale last term. And generally enjoying the sunshine last week.

Dementia UK Charity Run

Tuesday, 3 May 2016

Well done to our cook Tina, she completed the London Marathon at the weekend and managed to make a total contribution to her chosen charity Dementia UK of over £400. £260 of that was donated by our pupils and parents. Many thanks to everyone for their kind contributions.
