Dr What’s Assistants

Tuesday, 8 July 2014

Our last assembly of the year was performed by year 5 on Friday, having listened to their practice I can assure you of some ear blasting Dr Who music to accompany them.

Parents were taken on a journey in the Tardis to Victorian times. With some humour and splendid acting the audience were given a brief overview of some of the many famous people from that period. They included; Queen Victoria, Charles Darwin, Charles Dickens and Isambard Kingdom Brunel.

Well done year 5 another brilliant assembly. Finally as always a big thank you for the great parent turnout, much appreciated.

Guitar Recital

Tuesday, 8 July 2014

A guitar recital was held for all the parents of those children who had opted for extra music curriculum tuition.

Martyn Roberts from the Warwickshire County Music Services had the children prepare a number of musical pieces including “Summer 59” and “Lonesome Trail.”

The children had been practising all year and gave a polished performance that sounded very professional.
