Harvest Assembly

Wednesday, 3 October 2012

Our Harvest assembly this year will be on Wednesday 17th October at approximately 9.10. Each class will perform a small poem/song etc. followed by a few words from Rev. Andrew from St Giles. Parents are welcome to attend.

As usual we will donate all produce to a local worthy cause. Last year all the produce went to the Women’s Refuge Centre, who were extremely grateful for the kind contribution from the families of our school. Sharing food with others is a great act of kindness and I was very proud to present them with your kind thoughts and wishes too.

If you would like to contribute tins or packets of food etc. then please send them in with your child. Any fresh produce can be sent in on the morning of the assembly.

Our kitchen will be putting on a Harvest Menu for that day (more details to follow next week). The cost will be the usual amount of £1.90

Dahlicious Day

Wednesday, 3 October 2012

What a super effort everyone made on Friday. Some very well thought out costumes. The children had a lovely day delving into Roald Dahl stories and joining in lots of exciting activities. Our corridor display boards are full of photographs and examples of work from the day, please come and take a look when you are in.
