Head's Welcome Message
Welcome to Wheelwright Lane Primary School.
We are a Community Primary School with approximately 210 pupils on roll. The school is situated in Ash Green, Warwickshire close to the Coventry border and celebrated its 70th birthday in 2007.
The local area has a village-like atmosphere, where sometimes generations of families live closely together and have attended our school. We pride ourselves on maintaining strong links with local families, the church and other neighbouring schools.
We provide a caring and secure environment, where children have respect for each other and for adults and develop a personal, moral code sensitive to the needs of others in preparation for adult life.
The Governors, Teachers and Support Staff are all dedicated to providing the best possible broad, balanced education and learning environment for the children.

The staff would like to wish you all a relaxed and enjoyable summer break. Here's hoping the weather perks up..... for those of us not travelling to other parts of the world.

Congratulations to all our year 6 pupils who have once again exceeded expectation in both English and Maths KS2 SATs by gaining higher than the national average results. We are all very proud of their and your hard work to gain these "best ever" achievements for the school. We wish them continued success at secondary school and beyond.
