Year 6 Lego WeDo and Scratch2

Wednesday, 8 February 2017

We made a goalkeeper using Lego Wedo and Scratch 2. The motor is attached to the white lego brick on the back of the goalie making him move from post to post.
Shaw and Taylor.

We used timers to make our legs kick forwards and backwards. Then we experimented with sound. We chose a ‘boing’ sound. We are looking forward to going home as we have chosen to make a goal and ball so that our legs can kick the ball into the goal.

Cross Country Team

Tuesday, 7 February 2017

Our team were in action again last week, under better weather conditions this time. Again they were a credit to the school, all trying their best and beating some tough opposition. We were given a special cheer as our team went through the finish line – we are classed as a small school and had performed really well. Four of our team will now go forward to the next round in March. Well done to all the team.
