Our birds have fledged!

Tuesday, 4 July 2017

We came in yesterday to find that three of our birds had fledged over the weekend, there was just one left in the nest. Within the hour the last one flew the nest. Nursery staff found it perched, in hopefully a safe spot, away from the magpies beady eyes. Later in the morning it too had gone. We think its a Great Tit, would any bird experts out there agree?

Year 4 Trip to Poole’s Cavern, Buxton

Friday, 12 May 2017

Year 4 visited Poole’s Cavern in Buxton on Wednesday.

The caverns were amazing with some of the longest stalactites in the U.K.

After lunch there was a walk up to Solomon’s Temple with some stunning views of Derbyshire
