Assembly with a Difference

Wednesday, 7 October 2015

We had a four legged visitor to our school assembly this morning, all the children were introduced to Ushka the black Labrador pup being trained by Mr and Mrs Rhodes as a guide dog for the blind. They were given lots of information about the many things that she will have to learn to become a good guide dog for the blind. They were also told about the other two dogs that they had already trained and have now found good homes. The children were all thrilled to see her.
