Busy sporting few weeks

Wednesday, 3 December 2014

Well done to our Year 5 and 6 footballers who entered a football competition with local Coventry schools last week. Our team never lost a game and defensively they were excellent. We did not win but the children thoroughly enjoyed the competition – well done.

Year 5 and 6 mixed Tag Rugby team were also in action at Race Leys in Bedworth. They gave 100% effort and came away with a draw and two close defeats, finishing in joint 3rd place. A great competitive spirit was shown by all the children, resulting in a  thoroughly enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

Operation Christmas Child

Monday, 1 December 2014

We have had a terrific response from the children to fill a shoebox. There are around 50 boxes which will now be sent on to the organisers ready to be transported somewhere in the world where the children are less fortunate than ourselves. Thank you for all your very generous contributions, they will be gratefully received.
